These handy Sponge Cloth 100% Cellulose 18 x 20cm Pack of 6 are perfect for the busy art or classroom. 100% biodegradable, these sponge cloths are made from organic material which will break down quickly in an open environment. Moreover, the sponge cloths are machine washable and reusable.

The sponge cloths are 18 x 20cm in size with six in the pack. Cloths are pink to light pink in colour and vary from pack to pack.

Highly absorbent, these sponge cloths can be used as both a sponge for mopping up large spills, or as a cloth for wiping and scrubbing surfaces such as tables and benchtops; they are the perfect allrounder! The sponge surface has a dimpled texture that helps to trap dirt and soak up spillage. Cloths are made from a natural cellulose which is tough and durable, and can be rinsed over an over again.

Cleaning aside, sponges are a great tool for sensory and water play for young children. Simply fill a tray or shallow container with 2cm of water. Cut up a sponge cloth into deferent shapes and float them on the surface of the water. Children can explore the texture and feel of the sponge, the way the water releases when squeezed and observe how the sponge floats and sinks.
