The Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolour Sets use artist quality, handcrafted painting inks. The solid and compressed paint pigments are vivid, intense, saturated and lightfast preventing artworks from fading over time.

This Kuretake Gansai Tambi pan palette, offers convenience and portability. The solid paint colours are easily activated with a wet brush. This versatile water-based paint provides clean, dependable colour. Vary the amount of water used to create different painting effects small colour dilution for an opaque gouache-like finish, greater colour dilution for a transparent coloured wash. Colours can be intermixed to extend the palette.

Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolour Sets are great for crafters, students, artists and hobbyists. Great for plein air, sketching, illustration and sumi-e (traditional Japanese ink painting).

Best used with watercolour paper, Yupo, mineral paper, mixed media paper, watercolour canvas boards, or a high gsm cartridge paper. Colours also work well on darker papers. We always recommend a heavier gsm paper when exploring advanced watercolour techniques. Use a watercolour or Taklon brush. Colours wash out in water.
