Eco Colour is a non-toxic ink ideal for watercolour experimentation. Intense, vibrant pigments create beautiful results. All Eco Colour’s are intermixable. Try on mineral paper for stunning effects, sprinkle wet salt into the wet surface or try bubble printing. Can be used in craft projects as food dyes would be; however, these dyes are not approved as food grade.

Fun techniques using water soluble Eco Colour:
Wax Resist: Create a speckled and broken line appearance by rubbing a wax candle, crayon or oil pastel over a paper surface. Paint over wax with Eco Colour Ink and allow to dry.

Rock Salt: Sprinkle rock salt over wet coloured Eco Colour Ink to create exciting star burst effects. Allow to dry thoroughly before shaking off the salt.

Soft Mask: Create a soft edged mask by placing a piece of teased out cotton wool over your artwork. Use a stiff bristle brush or spray misters to spray colour over the area. Gently remove the cotton wool.

Blowing: Create fun random lines by blowing across droplets of dye through a straw. Watch colours mix and run across the paper. This is a fun activity to young children!
